Narratives

In this episode the crew discuss narratives. Beyond just being a story, one of the definitions of the word narrative is a “way of presenting a situation of series of events that reflects and promotes a particular point of view or set of values”. Much of what many people believe when challenged may be found to be based on a well crafted narrative as opposed to being based on actual truth. Whether spiritual, political, educational there are certain lines of thought that should be investigated as to where they came from. This requires us to be willing to go beyond the surface of matters and not accept everything being ‘fed’ to us wholesale.
